“Earlier in June, the city of Gatlinburg unveiled it’s long-awaited memorial project in Mynatt Park to honor the lives lost and the rescue efforts made during the 2016 Smoky Mountain wildfires (for this very site was originally designed to provide information and support on). Myself and Ge’ne Kea went to Mynatt Park to get pictures of the memorial and some additional pictures of the park at a time when it’s very apparent new additions have been made recently and looking at its best in years.
