Dollywood’s Smoky Mountain Summer Celebration

From Mypigeonforge.com:

“Dollywood’s Smoky Mountain Summer Celebration is just that—a time to celebrate making memories with family at a place everyone enjoys! This summertime event gives families a unique chance to ride Dollywood’s world-class roller coasters, including Lightning Rod and Wild Eagle all day and well into the night! Once the sun sets, these rides will thrill guests as they race through the summer night not knowing which way the track will turn next!

And this year’s celebration is about to get a little sweeter, with Dollywood’s new Sweet Summer Nights, as well as new show offerings.

Dollywood’s Sweet Summer Nights is a multi-sensory drone light show that creates a magnificent symphony of light in the sky above the park. Guests will be delighted as they watch hundreds of drones each evening illuminate the skies. This performance is integrated into a musically-choreographed fireworks show, creating a spectacular nighttime experience of epic proportions.

“Gazillion Bubble Show Aurora” returns to deliver a mesmerizing burst of excitement for guests at Celebrity Theater. Guests will be enveloped by “gazillions” of bubbles for a fun and unpredictable experience that captivates the entire family.

Dollywood’s great shows make dancing in the aisles acceptable and bring out the kid in everyone. Show offerings during the Summer Celebration include:

* Good Vibes at the Back Porch Theater. This musical journey celebrates positivity, counting blessings, and simply enjoying life and happiness.

* Forever Country has found a home at The Valley Theater. This show takes a look at the changing landscape of country music in the late 80s, 90s and early 2000s. Guests can expect to hear popular hits from artists like Garth Brooks and Shania Twain, as well as a nod to several popular dance songs, including Dolly’s “Romeo” and Brooks and Dunn’s “Boot Scootin’ Boogie.”

Other exciting entertainment options for guests during Dollywood’s Summer Celebration include:

* Imagination Playhouse showcases three favorite books from Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, including “Coat of Many Colors,” “Stand Tall, Molly Lou Melon” and “The Little Engine That Could.” Interactive photo ops will be available for children and families in the lobby of the theater prior to each show.

* Tennessee Air National Guard’s Band of the South (concert band), Blue Groove (jazz band) and Full Throttle (rock group) perform at DP’s Celebrity Theater and Showstreet Palace Theater. This fascinating show inspires patriotism by fostering a deep appreciation of the rich history and legacy of the Air Force.”
