Why Choose Three Jimmys For Dinner In Gatlinburg?

The city of Gatlinburg has no shortage of restaurants to serve just about every taste under the sun, but one of our favorite places that we like to post on our network of websites about every so often is the Three Jimmys on Highway 321 in Gatlinburg. We have gotten to enjoy Three Jimmys so much that we have been going there at least once a month for dinner, drinks and meetings with other clients. We have some of our favorites that we go for (beer-battered shrooms, chicken pot pie, maple bourbon chicken and Guinness-braised reuben, specifically) and for dinner or drinks, we often choose a time when a performer will be playing that night.

We know why we choose Three Jimmys, why should you?

1. The food, obviously. We were customers and patrons of Three Jimmys before we started promoting them on our websites. About 5 meals before and many more followed. We are confident we will have a great night out each time we choose Three Jimmys, and judging by their reviews on Google, we are not the only customers who say so!

Three Jimmys has a long and varied menu, made up of local recipes and specialties the owners had perfected, broken up into Comfort Food, Sandwiches, Burgers (yes, they actually separate out sandwiches from burgers!) Barbecue & Grill, Soup & Salad, World Artisan Pizza, fresh housemade sides and, of course, appetizers under the Starters header. They are especially proud of their smoked meats; some of which we’ve had some and can see why. These meals include chicken wings, “Rockin’ Ribs” with a special sauce only available at Three Jimmys, brisket, sirloin, roast beef, ham, catfish, turkey, themed pizzas, a multitude of cheeses and vegetables, and much more than we’d have room to post here.

2. Despite the area being full of restaurants and full of music artists, Gatlinburg surprisingly does not have many restaurants that offer regular music performances throughout the week, or month, or at all. Three Jimmys has music performances and their restaurant is the stage for locally famous performers like Kirk Fleta and Neese Hurst as well as Karoake Nights on Thursday.

3. An excellent location that both locals and visitors to the Smokies greatly appreciate (it shows up in Google reviews quite a bit). Gatlinburg is known for its traffic downtown, and it’s known for its very long stretch of road into the far more rural and mountainous area of the Tennessee Smokies on Highway 321 towards Cosby. Three Jimmys is located right at the “sweet spot” where the Gatlinburg traffic dies down but not so far away that it isn’t easy to get to.

That same location is also the start of the Glades/Gatlinburg Arts and Crafts Community, so it has proximity to a gorgeous portion of Tennessee Smokies that feels prestigious, calming and historic all at once. A handful of times, we have had a day out at the Arts and Crafts Community and then enjoyed an awesome pizza or roast beef plate at Three Jimmys.

Oh, and they have outside dining that is dog-friendly!
