When does Dollywood Open in 2024?
Dollywood’s opening day for the 2024 season will be March 9th from 10 am – 8 pm. While their opening day hardly ever changes once announced, we still always recommend checking with Dollywood before you make your vacation plans and reservations just in case!
What is new at Dollywood in 2024?
Brand new in 2024 is “The Dolly Parton Experience”, which will feature a number of interactive elements to make guests feel as if they were alongside Dolly as she journeyed from Locust Ridge to stages around the world. Housed in multiple buildings, the multi-faceted Dolly Parton Experience includes exhibits which span her iconic career, the inspiration and results of her biggest dreams, the importance of her family, and even a curated exhibit that highlights Dolly’s signature style through the years. The Dolly Parton Experience provides guests more Dolly than ever, as it is three times the size of the former Chasing Rainbows Museum. The entire Adventures in Imagination area transforms to create the Dolly Parton Experience.
Festivals at Dollywood in 2024
A special event called the “I Will Always Love You Celebration” is scheduled to take place March 9th – April 14th. Dollywood’s website says this event is celebrates Dolly’s popular hit, “I Will Always Love You”. Guests can experience an updated version of the guest-favorite Paradise Road; a new show called Trio to celebrate the album of the same name which featured Dolly, Emmylou Harris and Linda Ronstadt; as well as an interactive singalong show that features some of Dolly’s biggest hits.
The Flower & Food Festival returns on April 19st – June 9th featuring multiple, all-new iconic Mosaiculture displays and a fresh menu full of all-new delectable delicacies.
The Smoky Mountain Summer Celebration kicks off June 15th – August 11th with a larger nightly drone and fireworks show, and the return of the guest-favorite Gazillion Bubble Show Aurora!
The Harvest Festival will take place September 9th – October 28th featuring the popular Hoot Owl Hollow glowing display, Great Pumpkin LumiNights, delicious food, and more.
The award-winning Smoky Mountain Christmas at Dollywood takes place November 1st – January 5th with 6 million twinkling lights, shows for the whole family, seasonal treats for all tastes, and more.
